Random pithy quote: They did not know it was impossible, so they did it! - Mark Twain

It looks like the new story-specific RSS feeds are a reasonable success: the new Weber book got 96 request so far, today.
Of course, many of those wind up being duplicates due to the way most feed-readers seem to behave. I mean, really, why request the feed every hour when it changes every two or three days?
And my feed's time-to-live is six hours. (TTL seems to be a bit of a red-headed step-child as feed settings go. Most readers seem to ignore it due to its ambiguous definition.)

As requested suggested, I have added a new experimental RSS feed to the site.
Each book's chapter index page now sports its own little orange icon.
This feed will have (up to) the ten most recent snippets from a collection. There may be times when that is not the order in which they should be read, but that shouldn't happen too often.
The natural order of the snippets is by date, with the oldest first, so that they can be read in order.
Of course, your feed reader program is quite capable of resorting the feed items by name and/or date, so the reading experience might be a bit odd.
I could also simply restrict the feed to the single most recent snippet, but that will cause issues those times when I post several snippets in a collection on the same night to catch up on one or more missed snippets.
If the regulars who use the feeds have any comments or questions, feel free to use the site Contact Me link to drop me a note.
