Random pithy quote: I finally made my stupid computer faster; I dropped it out of the window, and it went really fast.

Well... I had suppressed the error message on the site, but I forgot one small detail:

Many moons ago, when my site was hit by an annoying script (I'm convinced it was through another user's site on the shared host due to the files' ownership) I created a cron job to periodically overwrite the root directory's index.php file with a clean copy from a different path.

So... I fixed the file yesterday, uploaded it, and inside of fifteen minutes, the script would run and undo what I fixed.

      Oops.

Site Notice: October 14, 2017, 6:39 pm

Got an email yesterday (read it today) that the site was throwing a PHP warning.

"It was working fine the last time I used it... honest!!"

Not sure why it decided to start throwing the warnings, but I am using an old version of Code Igniter and I suppose I am due for an upgrade.

I have suppressed the warning message and over the next week or so, I figure I'll migrate the code base over to the current version of CI. It's long overdue.
